The Legacy Podcast
I never wanted to start a podcast, but here I am eating my words AGAIN!!! So many of my friends have successful podcasts and I told them that I didn’t have a desire to start one! I didn’t want to dive into another platform that already has SO many successful people running AMAZING podcasts. I love creating new things that haven’t been done before.. but between our Youtube channel, Facebook groups, Instagram account, blog, amongst other platforms, it seems like there is just a never ending list to keep up with!!
But after having kids, and going through many trials as well as unbelievable joy, I realized that I LOVE educating photographers and helping people learn the things that we’re learning in our own lives as well.
The Why Behind the Podcast
There are so many different areas of your life that you can leave a LEGACY. Whether that’s a business, your marriage, family, how you show up in pain, the list goes on! Truly I believe that God has allowed us to walk through many trials so that we can help others who are walking through the same experiences.
I believe this space of the Legacy Podcast is different than any other platform.. Not many people will go to Youtube to look for an hour long video on how to create a legacy or walk through hard experiences. They go to Youtube to learn how to do something, acquire a skill, OR just watch cute videos of Micah & Evy (which we LOVE to do!!)
But I want spaces for both things! I want to continue to teach people the technical skills & tips for photography, but I also desire a place where I can share my heart. SO I still don’t love the idea of a Podcast, but I do know that the Lord has given me specific things to share and teach others!
This Podcast won’t be a place where I shy away from my faith, or tip toe around scripture, but I want to empower women in their faith! I’m inviting you into our life to see the struggles, the lessons we’re learning, and encourage you in your walk as well.
I am truly excited about the Legacy Podcast and how it can be a separate space to share the amazing things God is doing in our life! This is my passion project and I hope you will join in the conversation with me as well. You can find more of the episodes of The Legacy Podcast HERE!
