We decided to fly to the desert…. right before the biggest conference of the year. NBD. But hey! “People over pictures” right?! Always.
We are SO excited to spend some time with our sweet friends Jordan, Amy, Anna and Caroline! We’re LOVING the desert weather since at home, there is a pile of SNOW! Again! We’re loving the sunshine and sweet hospitality. Today is “supposed” to be a work day… and we’re working on that (pun intended). Halfway through the morning we realized that Rangefinder’s new digital issue was out!!! AH!
We knew that we were going to have a little feature in this recent issue …. and the awesome thing is Amy and Jordan were featured in the SAME ARTICLE!!! We squealed and quickly flipped through the spreads searching for our page! Annamarie snapped a few pictures of us freaking out!!! We were featured in Rangefinder’s Educators “10 to Watch” article and we’re all thrilled!! What an honor!!! This is such a fun thing to celebrate right before WPPI!!!!! And what makes it even better is that we get to celebrate with FRIENDS in PERSON!!!!!!! VIEW IT HERE!
Freaking out over Jordan and Amy’s AMAZING spread!!!ALSO!! We were featured in the January issue as well in this WPPI AD! Julia, you are gorgeous!!!
As a professional photographer, I’ve had the privilege of capturing countless family portraits over the years. Each session presents a unique set of challenges, from managing energetic children to finding the perfect backdrops.
As a photographer, I’ve often found myself in situations where the location seemed lackluster or uninspiring. It’s easy to get caught up in the pursuit of the perfect setting, but the reality is that we don’t always have the luxury of shooting in the most visually stunning locations.
We rescheduled this shoot with the Smith family once because of a threat of rain. It wasn’t a totally horrible forecast but if there’s one thing that I learned about Colleen when I photographed her wedding, it’s that she loves the GLOW!
What’s better than doing a family session for one KJ couple? Photographing TWO and adding in Nonna and Grandpa!
As a professional wedding photographer, I’ve encountered my fair share of editing challenges on the job.
Have you ever closed out of Lightroom unhappy with the end result?
