I’ve heard it said that you can truly see the character of a person when they are in the midst of a hard time. Matt and Callie have had a crazy couple of weeks leading up to their wedding and I think they both would agree that it was a roller coaster ride. However, the ups and downs and the changes in their plans didn’t steal the joy of their wedding day. These two amaze me…. and I don’t say that lightly. They really do. Callie has this sweet spirit and calm personality that makes you love her without even knowing her!! I’ve barely had any time with these two and I already love and respect them so so much. As I watched their first look take place, it couldn’t have been more apparent that these two were made for this.
They were made for each other. Wedding days can be filled with a ton of nerves and stress but when Matt turned to see his bride, all of that disappeared… instantly. They hugged and kissed and hugged some more. Their day was finally here and it was beautiful! Matt and Callie were married at Kingsmill and their ceremony overlooked the James River. It was stunning. As I watched Callie’s mom walk her down the aisle, I was snapping away and simultaneously thinking “Gosh, what an honor this is!”. I love my job….. and I was reminded of that over and over again at their wedding. I want you all to see a glimpse of their beautiful day and so enjoy!! And Matt and Callie, you two are awesome! Seriously awesome. You are so obviously loved by your friends and family and it was a privilege to document your day!! Thank you for allowing me to be there!!!
