Something that I LOVE about Virginia is that there are SO many incredible wedding venues. Even after 5 years of shooting and over 120 weddings, I’m still shooting at new venues every season and it’s so exciting! I had never seen the property of West Manor Estate until last Friday when I arrived for Tyler and Amy’s wedding day! Let me just tell you… it’s STUNNING! This venue is so well thought out and so elegant in every way. It was the PERFECT setting for Tyler and Amy’s big day. Friends and family gathered around the property and before we knew it, it was show time! Amy’s youth pastor officiated the ceremony and because Michael used to do youth ministry, I couldn’t help but think about how awesome that must be to be a part of one of your youth group kids’ weddings! So special!! Tyler and Amy are such a sweet couple that are loved by so many.
Their guests were a mix of family, friends and church family and everyone was so excited to see these two tie the knot! I loved hearing stories from the Maid of Honors that explain how Tyler came into Amy’s life. No matter what friend was speaking about this couple, the story was the same. When Tyler and Amy started talking, everyone knew this was it. It was obvious from the start that these two would make it to this day where vows and rings were exchanged! It was such a wonderful celebration and Michael and I were so honored to be a part of it!! Enjoy a little peek of their big day!!
And Tyler and Amy, I hope your honeymoon is AMAZING!! Enjoy this stress-free week in the tropics!!
