Wedding season is in full force! We love April weddings because the heat hasn’t hit yet and everything is still in the process of coming back to life! Sure, the pollen and the sneezing aren’t ideal but I’ve missed the leaves on the trees! Trey and Lindsey had the perfect scenario for wedding day weather. It was raining south of us and so we just had light cloud cover all day long! God gave us a natural soft box so that I could have free reign over the property of the Tides Inn! We shot portraits on the dock, on the pier, on the beach, etc and never had to worry about harsh lighting. I love those type of days! I also loved this day because I know that Trey and Lindsey have been looking forward to it for so long. Not only were they coming together as husband and wife but they were officially becoming a family with Trey’s son Tanner.
Their beautiful family was celebrated by a ton of family and friends who love them dearly. I honest think Tanner danced with more people during the reception than Trey and Lindsey! He is so loved!! Before we started shooting on the wedding day, Trey stopped me in the lobby of the hotel and explained that he wanted Tanner to be a part of their first look. So as Lindsey was walking to see her “Almost” husband on a private pier, Tanner walked down the stairs and surprised her with roses. And then the tears started! :) I don’t know if Lindsey got more choked up over that or when she saw her dad for the first time! Needless to say, there were a ton of happy tears and it was a gorgeous wedding day to be a part of! Enjoy my summary of the day!!!
You know I was loving these teal dresses! beautiful!!! This was Lindsey’s grandma’s pin…. First Look! Love this shot from Michael! Lindsey you are so sweet! So many happy tears! Michael’s angel… Stunning!! Time to get married!! Both of them were in tears before they ever reached the aisle! :) cutie! And this is why you need a second shooter… such a great angle of the kiss!!
A year ago, we promised to find a solution for those who were complaining about their R6 raw files looking dull and lifeless in Lightroom. However, due to various circumstances, we couldn’t deliver on that promise until now.
Kelly is an incredible wedding photographer who has been shooting 90 weddings a year. I know, it sounds unbelievable, but it’s true! Kelly’s success and the volume of work she handles is truly impressive.
Your sessions should be working FOR you not against you!
