I’m not sure if that is the correct way to spell that made-up word or not… but that is what he is. Michael, my husband, is not one to sit around passively and do nothing around the house. Now I will say that he can take naps…..long naps, anytime of day and I don’t think he will ever out grow that. However, besides his naptime, he is normally getting something done around the house… especially in the kitchen. A lot of women have asked me.. “have you cooked a lot?!”… and my answer has to be “well, no, not really…. Michael likes to cook”. And this is true. I HELP him cook but I have really only made ONE dinner totally by myself and I had to tell him to leave me
alone and let me do it! I wanted to be able to say “yes, I cooked dinner by myself” just once! (And it was GOOD:). Don’t get me wrong, I love that Michael is so willing to help and loves to cook… it’s a blessing. There is no pressure for me to get dinner together every single night and I’m so thankful for that! Not only will Michael willingly help out in the kitchen he’s extremely creative! One Monday (our day off)… I walked into the kitchen and Michael had his beloved Kitchenaid Mixer out and he was making homemade soft pretzels! What?! Who does that on their day off?? Michael does… because he’s a do-er. He literally just googled it and wa-la…. they were the best soft pretzels I’ve ever had. So basically, the whole reason for this post is to brag a little about my handsome, helpful, pretzel bakin’ husband:) Michael, you continue to impress me with the way you serve me, take care of me and what you’re capable of creating with our kitchenaid mixer, I love you:)
