is something that I realized when I was preparing for the spring Workshop Experience that took place on Friday. I was refreshing my presentation and I realized that this was my 5th LARGE scale workshop in the last 2 years. There was a day when the simple thought of teaching someone else was so intimidating to me. There was also a day when photographing a wedding was something that made me lose sleep at night. I’ve realized that the BIG things that used to be so intimidating and scary to me have now become the new normal for me. And when the big things become normal, your standards become higher and your dreams get a little crazier.
I’m so thankful for this new part of my life. Teaching and helping other photographers move forward with their businesses is such an honor!! This past Friday we had photographers come from all over the country to learn and grow together at the Spring 2013 Workshop Experience. This workshop was held at the Historic Mankin Mansion and I can’t thank them enough for their hospitality! Janie and Dana did their thing once again and I’m so thankful to have such a creative and passionate design & floral team! Tori from Marvelous Things Photography and her sweet husband modeled for us and I’m so grateful for their time and sweet model faces!! Thanks to Emily Hudspeth for making Tori look EXTRA beautiful!! Mosaic catered the event and we’re always excited to work alongside of them! (They catered our wedding!). So many sponsors need to be thanked. I’m so grateful for these companies that are so willing to support growing photographers! HUGE shout out to:
Organic Bloom, Leather Craftsmen, Adorama, Kelly Moore Bags, PASS, H-B Photo and Album Exposure.
Thanks to Angela for these!! Thanks Taylor for the image on the right! Michael was on bubble duty during the shoot. Such an AMAZING group of ladies!! I just love gaining new friendships at every workshop we host!!! A Special thank you to Michael for making this thing happen. This was his baby and I’m beyond grateful for his help!! And of course I have to give you a sneak peek of what’s in store!!A year ago, we promised to find a solution for those who were complaining about their R6 raw files looking dull and lifeless in Lightroom. However, due to various circumstances, we couldn’t deliver on that promise until now.
Kelly is an incredible wedding photographer who has been shooting 90 weddings a year. I know, it sounds unbelievable, but it’s true! Kelly’s success and the volume of work she handles is truly impressive.
Your sessions should be working FOR you not against you!
