I miss college. I don’t miss the classes or the papers or the stress, just the people… those amazing people. I have heard that you meet the most amazing friends in college and that was so true for Michael and I. Our friends feel like our family and we consider them family. College for us wasn’t just about hanging out and having a good time, we formed relationships with people that we know we’re going to keep in touch with forever. I mean that. F-O-R-E-V-E-R. I know it’s hard to do. Life happens, schedules get crazy, people start having babies (aah!!!)… but we’re going to keep in touch. Today I got a chance to talk to one of my roommates who has been
working as an intern at a YoungLife camp in NY. She’s super busy with no cell service and so today was literally the first chance we had to realllly talk. I loved it. I could have stayed on the phone with her for hours. There is just something about having good friends. I’m so thankful for the incredible people that came into my life during college and I can’t believe those 4 years are over!! It FLEW by! That reality set in a little deeper today when I got the mail and saw a magazine with my name on it…. an ALUMNI magazine! Are you kidding?! Already?! This is too much! I’m not an alumni yet…. give me a few more months before you call me that! Gosh. It made me feel old and grown up and a little bit sad. However! I opened up to page 29 and saw a little picture of Paul and Cindy’s wedding that I shot on CNU’s campus back in May. That brightened the moment a little bit and I got over my bitterness that CNU was rubbing it in that I was “done”.
.
So CNU, I love you and I will be a proud Alumni! ….. It’s just hard to accept the fact that I’m done. To any of you faithful blog followers that are looking for a school… you just shoot me an email and I’ll give you a million reasons why CNU should become your home! (seriously, there are a million reasons, one being that the whole campus is practically BRAND NEW and BEAUTIFUL!)
A year ago, we promised to find a solution for those who were complaining about their R6 raw files looking dull and lifeless in Lightroom. However, due to various circumstances, we couldn’t deliver on that promise until now.
Kelly is an incredible wedding photographer who has been shooting 90 weddings a year. I know, it sounds unbelievable, but it’s true! Kelly’s success and the volume of work she handles is truly impressive.
Your sessions should be working FOR you not against you!
