emailed back and forth before the shoot because the weather was ominous. The scattered thunderstorms in the forecast were daunting but between our schedules and their schedules, we really didn’t want to cancel. So we decided to give it a shot! Rain or shine… we were going to make this happen! Michael and I drove up to Lake Monticello last week to meet Matt and Sarah and they couldn’t have been any sweeter!! I just love meeting our couples for the first time and immediately knowing that we are a GREAT fit! They had the BEST attitude about the clouds that started rolling in right as we began their session.
We shot some portraits with their sweet pup and then I began explaining some things about posing. Before we knew it, the heavens let lose! The rain continued for only a few minutes and we were thankful that we decided to wait it out. The BEST part about summer time thunderstorms is that once they’re over, there is always beautiful light that follows!
We headed down to the dock and had a blast. These two know how to LAUGH and have a good time together. The more time I spent around them, the more I loved them! We cannot wait to see them again and be a part of their wedding day! It’s going to be gorgeous and now we know that even if it rains, we’ll still have a great time and produce some beautiful images!! :) Enjoy this new engagement shoot!!!
So cute! Love that little tongue sticking out! Beautiful!!!A year ago, we promised to find a solution for those who were complaining about their R6 raw files looking dull and lifeless in Lightroom. However, due to various circumstances, we couldn’t deliver on that promise until now.
Kelly is an incredible wedding photographer who has been shooting 90 weddings a year. I know, it sounds unbelievable, but it’s true! Kelly’s success and the volume of work she handles is truly impressive.
Your sessions should be working FOR you not against you!
