It’s a very exciting feeling to walking into a bridal suite and find out that all of the bridesmaids follow your blog! I knew Patricia had followed my work for a while but I had no idea that her friends did as well and so that was such a fun surprise! I love wedding days like Evan and Patricia’s! They know me and my work and so they ROLLED through their portraits because they trusted me! Their bridal party rocked and rolled through my cheesy poses in record time and that meant that Evan and Patricia had an amazing amount of time for their portraits! Talk about an ideal wedding day!! It was beautiful. 70 degrees in November? You can’t ask for a better wedding day! The leaves in central Virginia hit their peak this past week and so the colors were just amazing for Evan and Patricia’s big day!
Family, friends, small group girls, cousins, siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles….. they all gathered together to celebrate this amazing couple. It was an amazing day and as Michael and I drove Evan and Patricia to their reception, we talked about their honeymoon and their big move that’s coming up and I couldn’t help but think about our transition into married life. Michael and I moved to Richmond after we were married and even though it wasn’t a long way from home, we still started over with a new life together and it was one of the best things ever for our marriage!! So I’m so excited for these two and their new life together in Delaware! They have so much to look forward to and I feel so honored to have been a part of their FIRST day as husband and wife!! We were welcomed with open arms by their family and friends and I’m just so thankful that we spent our second to last wedding weekend (in a row) with such an amazing group of people! Enjoy my favorites from Evan and Patricia’s big day!!!

Kelly is an incredible wedding photographer who has been shooting 90 weddings a year. I know, it sounds unbelievable, but it’s true! Kelly’s success and the volume of work she handles is truly impressive.
Your sessions should be working FOR you not against you!
