are so many things I need to do… and only ONE thing I WANT to do… and that’s SLEEP! Whew! What a whirlwind of a weekend! Thank the Lord I’m still moving and feeling good today because I have an engagement session in a few hours! The craziness began Friday when Annamarie and I drove to Charleston, SC to shoot Dustin and Brittani’s beautiful wedding (that will be on the blog tomorrow!!). Then we left their reception and DROVE HOME…. well, Anna drove and I culled the whole wedding! I went to bed at 5:30am, woke up at 11am and was shooting Trey and Kiersten’s wedding at 2pm!
WHAT?!! I’ve been a little nervous about this weekend for a while just because there are so many things that needed to work out just right in order make everything fall into place! Luckily, it all happened flawlessly. So now it’s Monday and I’m feeling it! My feet are sore, my voice is gone and my batteries are dead but something that I didn’t expect to feel is INSPIRATION. Normally after a rampage of shooting, photographers feel burnt out and just DONE for a few days but I feel the opposite. I’m SO very thankful that I was blessed with two AMAZING couples this weekend that made me fall more in love with my job. After 30+ weddings a year, one can start to burn out and forget how awesome this job is…. but hasn’t happened to me yet and I’m so grateful. So here’s to the rest of wedding season (no it doesn’t end in August like everyone seems to think… Sept and Oct are INSANE!). For all of you out there with two months to go, I wish you BEAUTIFUL weddings, amazing images and weekends that leave you wanting more!! Happy Monday everyone!!

A year ago, we promised to find a solution for those who were complaining about their R6 raw files looking dull and lifeless in Lightroom. However, due to various circumstances, we couldn’t deliver on that promise until now.
Kelly is an incredible wedding photographer who has been shooting 90 weddings a year. I know, it sounds unbelievable, but it’s true! Kelly’s success and the volume of work she handles is truly impressive.
Your sessions should be working FOR you not against you!
