It’s JULY?! Oh man this summer is flying by! I knew June would be a quick one since it was such a BUSY one but MAN!…. That was REALLY fast!! I feel like I’m living in a whirlwind between traveling and shooting and tornados! Yess… tornados. Virginia has been experiencing some pretty crazy weather recently. We’re talking hail, high winds, no power, heavy rain and 105 degree days! Yup. Try shooting a wedding in 105 degrees with 80% humidity. You’ll be drenched in a matter of seconds. That is what my weekend consisted of but let me tell you, the two weddings I shot this weekend were WORTH the heat!! They were stunning and I can’t wait to share!
So since I’m on a bit of a time crunch, I’m going to cut to the chase with this snapshot!!
Some personal goals (lets keep it simple):
Get up early & workout (before traveling kicked in I was doing well with this last month!!)
Finish “A Fault in Our Stars” (Thanks Mal!)
Spend some more with Jesus so that I don’t lose perspective… sometimes life can just take OVER and you start forgetting about what you’re really living for.. not good!
Some Business Goals:
Website makeover… probably at the end of the month. Maybe:)
Still working on the Bridal Guide guys! But it’s MUCH further along since I’m outsourcing and I feel like I have a LIFE again!!! Hallelujah!
Shoot 5 weddings and shoot them WELL!
Blog about the Canon 600EX-RT!
Looking forward to…..
Leaving at 5am with my family to go live on an 80 foot house boat for 3 days. Yea, we like to go against the flow and try out new vacation options every now and then! Actually, this has been a dream of my brother’s for a WHILE!
I’m also looking forward to sleeping in the car tomorrow since I’ve gotten about 8 hours of sleep since Friday!
The MISSION TRIP!! We’re headed to our annual mission trip in two weeks!! Can’t wait!
Then I’m looking forward to being HOME. I love HOME!
ps. That picture? That’s taken at Magen’s Bay and I would love to be there right about now. HEAVEN!
A year ago, we promised to find a solution for those who were complaining about their R6 raw files looking dull and lifeless in Lightroom. However, due to various circumstances, we couldn’t deliver on that promise until now.
Kelly is an incredible wedding photographer who has been shooting 90 weddings a year. I know, it sounds unbelievable, but it’s true! Kelly’s success and the volume of work she handles is truly impressive.
Your sessions should be working FOR you not against you!
