than never! Whew! Where was my common sense when I decided to announce a workshop AND do a mini-rebrand AND re-design my website…. in the middle of OCTOBER?! Sometimes I just don’t plan very well! However, the new LOGO is here and I the new and improved website is NOT FINISHED but it will be soon! I emphasized that because I know I’ll receive at least five emails with people telling me that the galleries won’t show up and that’s because they don’t exist yet. You guys crack me up!!
So you can see a glimpse of the new site HERE. Files need to be tweaked and galleries need to be added but it’s coming together! Thank you SHOWIT for allowing me to stay up til 4:30 am and completely redesigned my website in one night! (well, almost one night:) Showit is constantly saving me time and money. I update my website every year it seems like and I am only able to do that because I have a website company that gives me the freedom to be unique and creative! I design everything myself but if you don’t LOVE design work and you’re looking into SHOWIT, I would suggest working with a designer or starting with a template and then making it your own!

There are only 18 spots available and I really have no idea how fast it will fill up. It could be weeks or hours! The last workshop was SO much fun! I just loved it!! I can’t wait to see what amazing photographers I get to meet this time!!!
I have recently done an evaluation of my business as a whole. What works, what doesn’t, what needs improvement and what has been CONSISTENT throughout the last 3 years? What makes GREAT images and AMAZING client relationships? ….. It’s the EXPERIENCE. When my couples have a GREAT photographic experience, that shows through their images. People often ask me “How do you get your clients to be so NATURAL??” and my response is this is…. when people feel like they can be themselves and are comfortable in their environment, it’s easy to capture genuine, natural images. It is our job as photographers to MAKE THEM FEEL THIS WAY. We are responsible for how comfortable and confident our clients are, no matter how hard it is! Since this realization, I have re-modeled what package options I offer to my clients. Everything is now focused on giving my couples the most amazing WEDDING EXPERIENCE possible! I’m excited to see where this new chapter of KJP is headed and I THRILLED to be able to help other photographers learn more about creating an incredible, one of a kind, experience for their wedding clients too!
So I apologize that there is no Wedding Wednesday! This day has been a whirlwind!!!! Thanks for the sweet comments about the new site ALREADY!! You all make this hard work so worth it! Thanks for the encouragement!
