over somewhere new… completely NEW. Michael and I got married and moved to the west end of Richmond without knowing a soul. Well, we knew a few people but as far as our church family, we knew no one. It was great for our marriage. We had never experienced anything like that throughout our 8 years of dating. Starting brand new can be exciting but also a little scary. We came into this new youth group knowing that these kids had been through a lot the last few years. Some of them had watched numerous youth pastors come and go, each time thinking that “this was it, this one is going to stay!”… only to be let down in the end.
Michael and I anticipated that these kids probably wouldn’t warm up to us for a long time and we were told to be prepared for that. So I prepared. I had no expectations to get close to any of these girls… at least not for a long time. I knew they would probably need time to learn that they could trust me and I was ok with that… but then I met Katie. It was the first night we had really met any of the kids and I fell in love with this girl. Before I knew it, we had a lunch date and I felt like I had known her forever. She took everything I was “expecting” and threw it out the window. Katie and the rest of the youth group embraced Michael and I in a way that we never expected. We absolutely love where we are and we’re so thankful for the people that God has put into our life for this season of life.
Katie, your friendship has been such a gift to me!!! I love you! I’m thankful I have another year with you and we’re NOT going to talk about college and you leaving unless it’s absolutely necessary! Ok? OK! Enjoy some of my favorites!!! Katie you’re GORGEOUS!!!

A year ago, we promised to find a solution for those who were complaining about their R6 raw files looking dull and lifeless in Lightroom. However, due to various circumstances, we couldn’t deliver on that promise until now.
Kelly is an incredible wedding photographer who has been shooting 90 weddings a year. I know, it sounds unbelievable, but it’s true! Kelly’s success and the volume of work she handles is truly impressive.
Your sessions should be working FOR you not against you!
