first post from an iPad! It’s a little hard to type so if there are some spelling errors and typos, I’m just going to blame it on the fact that I’m typing on a mini keyboard as we’re bouncing around on the awful roads of Michigan. Seriously, these roads were NOT made for large Motorhomes! Last Wednesday night, my family and I left for a LONG drive out to Wisconsin for my cousin’s wedding….and when I say LONG DRIVE, I mean a 21 hour drive! Ah! The crazy thing is that this trip could have been 1/3 of the time if we had flown! …. but what fun is that?
My family is an RV family and flying seemed like the easy route (and more expensive route). We never grew up going to hotels or resorts, we just hooked up the camper and went on our way! We love our camper and if we had decided to fly the 1200 miles of this trip instead of driving, we would have missed out on several things:
.
1. Taking momma’s “scenic” route that ended up being several hours of nothing but trees. We still love her.
2. Overnight stays in Walmart parking lots. Creepy but effective. (Did you know that rv’s are allowed to camp out there?!)
3. Early morning breakfast stops at Mcdonalds….. Northwest Mcdonalds can be a little strange at times!
4. Traveling and working in bed. We start our journey early in the morning and while daddy and Corey drive, I lay in bed and get tons of work done, it’s awesome.
5. Our pit stop to put our feet in lake Michigan…..well I put my feet in, Emy and Corey DOVE in! Crazy kids. It was freezing!
6. We would have missed Emy’s late night comedy routine (she gets loopy when she’s tired)
7. Last but not least, I would have missed out on some awesome time with my sweet family! The only negative part of the whole trip was that Michael couldnt come:( I miss him!

So as we continue our journey home, get excited for some awesome blog posts coming this week!! And pray these roads don’t shake us to death! They are in need of some intense road repair up here!!!

A year ago, we promised to find a solution for those who were complaining about their R6 raw files looking dull and lifeless in Lightroom. However, due to various circumstances, we couldn’t deliver on that promise until now.
Kelly is an incredible wedding photographer who has been shooting 90 weddings a year. I know, it sounds unbelievable, but it’s true! Kelly’s success and the volume of work she handles is truly impressive.
Your sessions should be working FOR you not against you!
