Brandon and Jessica’s engagement session was my final local shoot for the season and it was perfection! The weather was beautiful and the light was golden! Not only were the locations and the light beautiful, I quickly realized that these two are incredibly photogenic! I don’t think they even realize how amazing they are in front of the camera. We met at the Capital and then headed down to one of Richmond’s more historic streets, Monument Avenue. This session was perfectly timed because the trees AND the streets were still full of colorful leaves and that is always my #1 goal for late fall shoots!
Michael and I loved getting to know these two. We quickly realized that we have several mutual friends! They are both have careers in the medical field and Jessica actually found us through knowing Sarah (a 2014 KJ Bride and dear friend of ours!). Not only do we have some mutual friends, we also have a shared love for RVA! Jessica and Brandon spent some time living in the Fan and they love the feel of downtown Richmond. It only made sense for us to finish up their engagement session on the beautiful residential streets of Monument avenue!
These two will be getting married at the Historic Mankin Mansion next fall and I’m already so excited to see them again!! I kept telling them that if they look this amazing in their engagement images, I cannot WAIT to see them in their wedding attire! It’s going to be beautiful!
Enjoy some of my favorites from this historic Richmond engagement session and get excited to see these two on the blog again next fall!
A year ago, we promised to find a solution for those who were complaining about their R6 raw files looking dull and lifeless in Lightroom. However, due to various circumstances, we couldn’t deliver on that promise until now.
Kelly is an incredible wedding photographer who has been shooting 90 weddings a year. I know, it sounds unbelievable, but it’s true! Kelly’s success and the volume of work she handles is truly impressive.
Your sessions should be working FOR you not against you!
