with other photographers is one of those things that we all SAY we love to do and NEED to do.. but when it comes down to actually making it happen, it rarely does. If we’re honest, it seems to be much easier for us to stay in our homes and on our computers. When we stay at our computers, it’s a safe space where we don’t have to put ourselves out there, we don’t have to make conversation and we’re in our own little bubble. Am I the only one that feels like this?! I sure hope not! I enjoy meeting new people and forming new friendships and once I’m in a room with fun, friendly photographers, I LOVE IT!
It’s the getting there part that takes some effort. I always have a to-do list and a workflow that is unfinished and it’s hard for me to step away from that just to go and “fellowship” with other people….. and I’m a PEOPLE PERSON! It’s amazing how WORK can slowly drag you away from the things you need most….like family, friends, and your faith. This past weekend I had lunch with one of my favorite people in the world and she mentioned something about when she hangs out with certain people…it can be “life giving”…. certain friendships bring so much joy into her life that when she’s with them, she is blessed by their presence. Well I can definitely say that being with other photographers last Friday night that LOVE the Lord and love their job was life-giving. Putting forth a little extra effort to go and meet new people and form new friendships is ALWAYS… and I mean ALWAYSSS worth it! Thank you EVERYONE who came out to Shortpump (bad directions and all) for a fun night together! Keep sharing the light of the Lord through your business and know that you’re doing so much more than creating pretty pictures! We have such a greater purpose!!!

A year ago, we promised to find a solution for those who were complaining about their R6 raw files looking dull and lifeless in Lightroom. However, due to various circumstances, we couldn’t deliver on that promise until now.
Kelly is an incredible wedding photographer who has been shooting 90 weddings a year. I know, it sounds unbelievable, but it’s true! Kelly’s success and the volume of work she handles is truly impressive.
Your sessions should be working FOR you not against you!
