The next workshop date is being announced EARLY this year! Aren’t you proud of me? I’m trying to give everyone a nice heads up since it will be coming up at the beginning of February 2013! The next Workshop Experience will take place in Richmond, VA on February 8th from 9am-6pm. The cost is $750 per person and when I am asked “So what is the workshop about?”…. My best response is this… The Workshop Experience in a nutshell is me teaching 12-16 photographers as much as I possibly can in a matter of 9 hours. The goal of the workshop is for the attendees to learn what took me 4 YEARS to learn in one day!
It’s a lot to cover and we move quickly but how amazing would it be to not make certain mistakes in your business because someone who has been there steered you in the right direction? This is an over saturated industry right now. Photographers are coming out of the woodwork! So how do you MAKE it?! How can you be sure that your business will withstand the over population of starter photogs in your area? It’s intimidating and it’s hard to do but I managed to make it happen and I LOVE sharing how I did it. There’s nothing I love more than seeing a LIGHTBULB come on for certain photographers in the room when they realize what their business has been missing! The Workshop Experience is about empowering photographers to take their business to the next level by teaching what has worked well for me over the last 4+ years.
My hope is that the photographers that attend my workshops leave completely and totally OVERWHELMED… in a GOOD WAY. That’s how everyone should feel after a great workshop. You should be pushed and challenged and your brain should be full of new ideas to take home and immediately implement into your business. If this sounds like something that your business needs, I welcome you to join us on February 8th in Richmond, VA for The Workshop Experience! We’re SO excited about this. We’re actually only opening it up to 12 photographers this round! I want to make it as personal as possible and 12 attendees is a GREAT size!! Have you ever tried to sit down with your spouse to talk about dreams, goals, and vision—only for it to turn into frustration or misalignment? If so, you’re not alone. Vision casting in marriage is hard because it brings up deeper fears, beliefs, and unspoken dynamics that many couples don’t even realize are at play.
Success—it’s a word we hear all the time. But what does it really mean? Is it about financial security? Status? Owning a dream home or taking extravagant vacations?
When you think about your business, do you see it as simply a job—or something more?
Today, I’m diving into an experience that was nothing like I anticipated: my digital detox in December. If you’ve ever considered taking a break from the noise of the online world, you might relate to my journey—the good, the surprising, and the, well, completely unplanned.
The wedding industry has faced unique challenges recently, with inflation affecting budgets and couples cutting costs. If you’re a wedding photographer feeling the pinch, don’t worry—2025 doesn’t have to be a slow year.
Life has a way of surprising us, doesn’t it? Over the last few months, I’ve been on a medical rollercoaster that I never saw coming.
