This wasn’t your normal “farm” wedding. David and Melissa are both so unique in so many ways and that’s one of the reasons that this wedding was such a blast! Ever since their engagement session, I knew that their wedding day would be awesome. They love music, they love their friends, and they love doing things differently. Their wedding had more of a “bohemian” feel than a “country” feel and I loved that!! As their friends started to show up at the ceremony location, I was with them on top of the hill at the guy’s cabin and we could see the cars pulling in.
I love that David and Melissa had so many friends and family members from all different parts of their life represented at their wedding! They had college friends, cousins, immediate families, work friends and even “festival” friends. These two LOVE music festivals and concerts. They make our life look really boring and I think I said to them at LEAST three times on their wedding day “You guys are seriously the coolest!!”. I love their care free, adventurous spirit and their love for life and for people! I’m so thankful that we had the opportunity to be the ones to capture their day. It was such an honor and a JOY!
It’s hard to put into words how much I love my job. It’s couples like David and Melissa that remind me how lucky I am!! I’m thankful for them and for their families and I can’t WAIT for you to see their beautiful wedding day at the gorgeous Glenmont Farm in Fort Valley, Virginia!!!
