The theme words used on their wedding day included “service, kind, compassionate, wise, thoughtful, etc”. Chris and Christine are well loved by their family and friends and that was so evident on their wedding day. It seemed like every time someone would speak of them, compliments just flowed out of their mouths. I had met Christine through my best friend Caroline when they roomed together at Tech. I knew how sweet of a friend she was to Caroline but I had never had many opportunities to hangout with Christine the last 5 years. After only an hour of hanging out at the salon, I knew it was going to be a wonderful celebration. Christine just has this calm, sweet presence about her and that’s the PERFECT
type of attitude for a wedding day! It rained the whole day and she just went with the flow and nothing became stressful! Her bridesmaids adore her and the whole morning was spent just hanging out, preparing for the ceremony and eating Panera…. YES!! I had never met Chris until 2 hours before the ceremony and thankfully he is JUST as laid back as Christine and so it was a BREEZE working with the two of them! Chris and his guys hung out beforehand in the room right next door to where his future bride was getting ready. I don’t know how much he knew about this dress…. but I’m pretty sure it blew him away!! It blew everyone away!! I mean, I thought tiny little Christine was going to have a tiny little dress…. but I’m SO glad she didn’t go that route because her gown was PERFECT. It was so BIG and glamorous and perfect that it gave her the title “Queen Christine” for the day! That title was very fitting.
As she came down the aisle in her gorgeous gown and long cathedral length veil, Chris smiled and stared. She was stunning. Absolutely stunning. As I was shooting Christine make her grand entrance I could hear sniffles behind me from the bridesmaids. It was a beautiful celebration for a beautiful couple and I’m so honored I was able to be a part of this amazing day! Chris and Christine, I was so encouraged by your friendship, your love for your friends and your DEEP love for your family. What an incredible life you are starting together! You are so SO blessed and I hope this new season of marriage treats you well! Enjoy Charleston and eat some crab legs and hush puppies for me!!!!!

Have you ever tried to sit down with your spouse to talk about dreams, goals, and vision—only for it to turn into frustration or misalignment? If so, you’re not alone.
