Some people inquire and ask us if we have worked at certain venues before. It’s almost like they think that if we have photographed there before, we’ll do a better job with their wedding pictures! What they don’t realize is that shooting at brand new places sparks a creativity in photographers! This was our first time photographing a wedding at the gorgeous Sundara estate and it was amazing!! This property is surrounded by mountains, orchards and rolling hills. The house has porches on every side and this came in handy when the afternoon thunderstorm rolled through. After the downpour, the skies cleared and the sun peaked through the clouds. It was beautiful!
I’ve been looking forward to this wedding ever since I spent the evening with Matt and Meredith during their engagement session. Their engagement pictures were beautiful and so I was hoping that their wedding pictures could be just as gorgeous and my wish came true! Matt and Meredith love the Lord, they love their families and they love each other. Before their ceremony, they washed each other’s feet to symbolize how they wanted to love and serve one another just as Christ loves the church. As Matt dried her feet, he smiled up at her and said “These are my favorite feet in the whole world.” :) Their love is so pure and full of hope and life. It was so amazing to be a part of their day. Enjoy this beautiful wedding!
Matt and Mere, we love you guys! We’re excited for your new life together, your marriage and the business adventures that are ahead of you! God has such beautiful things in store for your marriage, I just know it! You two have so much to look forward to! Enjoy St. Lucia and when you get home, enjoy your wedding pictures!!!
