I shot Lauren and Gardner’s downtown Richmond wedding at the Civl War Museum by the river. I can’t tell you how nice it was to be HOME for a wedding instead of traveling! Richmond is beautiful and the weather was gorgeous….a little chilly… but it was perfect. Their whole day was perfect. The guys and girls got ready in two-story suites at the Crowne Plaza and let me just say… those rooms were AWESOME! I’ve never seen a hotel room with that kind of light! Oh Happy Day!!!! Lauren got ready with her girls and they ooh and ahh-ed as she stepped into her beautiful gown. We made our way downtown to meet Gardner the first look and their wedding day began! After the ceremony, hugs were exchanged, family portraits
were shot and as we were walking back to the party bus…. I asked Gardner if he felt “MARRIED”. Normally the grooms admit that it doesn’t really feel any different yet…. besides having a ring on their left hand! However, Gardner answered “Yes”… he said “I’m offiically spoken for”. These two are a team and that was so evident throughout their wedding day. They danced literally the WHOLE night and celebrated with so many family and friends. It was just a wonderful day. I barely know Lauren and Gardner but for some reason, I felt like part of the family!! So enjoy this Richmond fall wedding! Oh and Lauren and Gardner are dental students here in Richmond, so you HAVE to check out their favors at the end of the post! Genius!
Lauren and Gardner THANK YOU for allowing me to celebrate with you and capture your day!!! What an amazing, genuine couple you are and ps. I love your bridal party:)

Success—it’s a word we hear all the time. But what does it really mean? Is it about financial security? Status? Owning a dream home or taking extravagant vacations?
