You would think that I would get tired of shooting in Old Town Alexandria. Sometimes when you shoot in the same place you feel like you can’t be creative or create unique images but this is NOT the case in Alexandria! This quaint town is full of so many alleyways, old homes and perfect door frames! James and Maggie showed up ready to explore and that’s exactly what we did! We met on King Street and then headed to the residential streets to start the shoot!
I always start our sessions with our four core poses and this was a breeze for James and Maggie! They are pros at making each other laugh and so from the very beginning, I knew it was going to be a great shoot! We had the streets to ourselves and I could have kept them outside shooting for hours and hours. There are so many amazing doors that were calling my name!! :)
James and Maggie are one of our FIRST weddings in 2016 and so you won’t have to wait very long until you see them again! And guess what! They’re getting married at PIPPIN HILL! We loved meeting them this past week and we can’t wait until it’s WEDDING TIME! James and Maggie actually got to meet Bokeh Boy briefly and I loved showing off our little fur-baby!! It was a fun evening in Old Town and I can’t wait for you to see their second outfit because it PERFECTLY coordinated with the ivy alley that I’m obsessed with!

Success—it’s a word we hear all the time. But what does it really mean? Is it about financial security? Status? Owning a dream home or taking extravagant vacations?
