Are you ready for a beautiful Christmas wedding!? This is the very first Christmas wedding EVER for Inspired Designs! It is also the first night wedding! Yikes! Not only was it dark, it was sleeting outside. Normally, for a natural light photographer, this would have been nightmare, but that sooo wasn’t the case. Jason and Jackie are probably one of the most easy going couples I have ever worked with and their sweet and gentle personalities made everything about their day flow beautifully! The fun thing about Jason and Jackie is that I feel like I’ve known them forever! We met for a consultation, then I shot Jackie’s bridal portraits and then we did their super fun engagements in Jason’s cotton fields! It’s such an honor to be able to come to a wedding and actually feel like part of the family. I love it.
.
Jason and Jackie, your love for your families and for one another is contagious and it was SUCH an privilege to be a part of your big day! I wish you the very best as your start your new life together! Hope you are having a blast in Jamaica!
I loved Jackie’s shoes!
I love this next one because it was such a random shot but it shows off Jackie’s pearl bracelet that was her wedding gift from Jason!
Looking at her parents:)
See that huge ball of REAL mistletoe? Yea, Jason shot that out of a tree! No big deal.
Special special thanks to my WONDERFUL roommate Steph for tagging along with me! I seriously couldn’t have done it without her! She helped so much and made the day so much fun!:)

Vision casting in marriage is hard because it brings up deeper fears, beliefs, and unspoken dynamics that many couples don’t even realize are at play.
Success—it’s a word we hear all the time. But what does it really mean? Is it about financial security? Status? Owning a dream home or taking extravagant vacations?
When you think about your business, do you see it as simply a job—or something more?
Today, I’m diving into an experience that was nothing like I anticipated: my digital detox in December. If you’ve ever considered taking a break from the noise of the online world, you might relate to my journey—the good, the surprising, and the, well, completely unplanned.
The wedding industry has faced unique challenges recently, with inflation affecting budgets and couples cutting costs. If you’re a wedding photographer feeling the pinch, don’t worry—2025 doesn’t have to be a slow year.
Life has a way of surprising us, doesn’t it? Over the last few months, I’ve been on a medical rollercoaster that I never saw coming.
