There are just some people who make you feel like you’re on top of the world. They believe in you, they trust you and they are your biggest fans. Kaitlin is one of those people in my life. She’s literally my biggest cheerleader (besides my daddy! … and Michael! and Momma!) and she’s been encouraging us for YEARS! The first time I met Kaitlin, she was just beginning to pursue photography and she greeted me with a tight hug and tears. Those greetings haven’t changed… well, there weren’t any tears when we met up in Charleston but she welcomed me with a BIG hug and all smiles!
Kaitlin emailed me about doing an anniversary session and we realized we were going to be in Charleston at the same time!! WHAT! Match made in HEAVEN! Literally… some of these pictures look like heaven! It may not have FELT like heaven (super hot!) but it was SO worth it!!! Michael and I LOVED meeting up with these two and touring around the beautiful and historic city of Charleston last Friday! Their love for one another is beautiful. I told them that I wish that EVERYONE was still in love like they are after two kids and six years of marriage!! It’s beautiful!
Building a business with two little boys from the bottom up is hard work and every time I get the chance to photograph Kaitlin, I’m reminded of how incredible she is. Her hard work is paying off and her business is thriving. I couldn’t be more proud of this KJ Bride/Coaching friend!! We’ve shared so many sweet memories over the last few years and I hope there are many more memories to come!!
Michael and Kaitlin, we love you guys!!! Mike… you know I think you’re awesome for walking around downtown Charleston in LATE JULY just so your wife can have some beautiful photos!!! :) And Kaitlin, I love you girl! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of so many amazing seasons of your life!!! xxoxo

I’m not going to lie… I’m proud of this! You know how HARD it is to get a cute shot with Rainbow Row without CARS?! Victory!!!
Looking good Mike!
Kaitlin…. just stunning!
AHH! This looks fake! … but I promise, this is someone’s home!
