As most of you know, I spent the last 4 days across the country in LAS VEGAS for the WPPI conference! WPPI stands for Wedding and Portrait Photographers International. There were over 10,000 photographers from around the world that came together to learn new techniques, new business strategies and to meet other photographers. I’ll admit that at first glance, it was a bit overwhelming. I traveled along side my good friend Jessie Smith. After the first day of sessions we both flopped down on the hotel bed, completely and totally bombarded with all the new info we had received!
It was so awesome to meet some of my favorite photographers! There was one point where Becker, Jessica Claire and Jasmine Star were all hanging out together and it blew my mind! There they were, the “Big 3”! haha I have learned so much from each one of them and it was awesome to meet them and learn from them in person! I came back with so much and I’m excited to share all the gradual changes and improvements that will be taking place here at Inspired Designs! Here are a few more pics from the week! Check out Jessie’s blog to see some more of my images!
Because Jessie and I are both members of the “Bschool”, we had some quick headshots done by Becker! I’m so excited to see them!
This was our “fancy” resturaunt night!
My feet hated me for wearing heels and walking around for hours upon hours! It was good exercise though!
After learning about shooting and techniques for 3 days I had to take some! Jessie hated it but I made her model and I loved this one!
Have you ever tried to sit down with your spouse to talk about dreams, goals, and vision—only for it to turn into frustration or misalignment? If so, you’re not alone. Vision casting in marriage is hard because it brings up deeper fears, beliefs, and unspoken dynamics that many couples don’t even realize are at play.
Success—it’s a word we hear all the time. But what does it really mean? Is it about financial security? Status? Owning a dream home or taking extravagant vacations?
When you think about your business, do you see it as simply a job—or something more?
Today, I’m diving into an experience that was nothing like I anticipated: my digital detox in December. If you’ve ever considered taking a break from the noise of the online world, you might relate to my journey—the good, the surprising, and the, well, completely unplanned.
The wedding industry has faced unique challenges recently, with inflation affecting budgets and couples cutting costs. If you’re a wedding photographer feeling the pinch, don’t worry—2025 doesn’t have to be a slow year.
Life has a way of surprising us, doesn’t it? Over the last few months, I’ve been on a medical rollercoaster that I never saw coming.
