moving slow today! I just finished a two day workshop where I taught all of our new photog friends that blogging early in the morning or the night before is the BEST way to get the most traffic… and here I am blogging at 12pm! haha What a hypocrite! :) I’m giving myself some grace because we’ve been going non-stop and so I totally slept in today! Bokeh did too!! We’ll be in recovery mode for the next two days and then we’re off to Ohio for a wedding!
So before I continue my day off and tune into Netflix and take Bokeh to a dog park, here are some behind the scenes shots from the workshop! I can’t WAIT to share the full shoot once it’s published! Amanda (check out her new site! Ah-mazing!) and all of the other vendors did an incredible job!! The group was awesome. We have so many new friends from ALL over! California, New Hampshire, Canada, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, etc!! We literally crammed as much as we possibly could into those two days!! I always tell attendees that it’s going to take a few days to decompress but if they are a tad overwhelmed, that’s probably a good thing!! :)
So enjoy some behind the scenes and have a fabulous Wednesday!!!! Thanks again to everyone who helped!! Especially my sweet mother in law who was here Sunday, Monday AND Tuesday to help Michael make it happen!
This is Camberley and she has just started an amazing paper decor business, Sweet Pear Paper!! How awesome is this?!!!! ah! Brides, take note! This would be amazing behind your cake, head table, alter, etc! Such a fabulous, creative business! I love what she’s doing! Give her a “like” on Facebook!!Have you ever tried to sit down with your spouse to talk about dreams, goals, and vision—only for it to turn into frustration or misalignment? If so, you’re not alone. Vision casting in marriage is hard because it brings up deeper fears, beliefs, and unspoken dynamics that many couples don’t even realize are at play.
Success—it’s a word we hear all the time. But what does it really mean? Is it about financial security? Status? Owning a dream home or taking extravagant vacations?
When you think about your business, do you see it as simply a job—or something more?
Today, I’m diving into an experience that was nothing like I anticipated: my digital detox in December. If you’ve ever considered taking a break from the noise of the online world, you might relate to my journey—the good, the surprising, and the, well, completely unplanned.
The wedding industry has faced unique challenges recently, with inflation affecting budgets and couples cutting costs. If you’re a wedding photographer feeling the pinch, don’t worry—2025 doesn’t have to be a slow year.
Life has a way of surprising us, doesn’t it? Over the last few months, I’ve been on a medical rollercoaster that I never saw coming.
