This beautiful day began in the historic manor house at Belmont Country Club. Abby was showing me her details and then she gave me a gift and told me to open it. I questioned her because it just didn’t seem right for the photographer to be opening a gift on the bride’s wedding day but she insisted! Abby had made me a custom cross-stitch of Michael and I with cameras in our hands! It looks JUST like us and I was just amazed at her talent and thoughtfulness!
Sometimes I wonder how we have been so blessed with amazing couples who love us and truly care about their photography. I’m so incredibly thankful! Abby was a dream KJ Bride! She loves photography, she trusts us completely and she has been following our journey since the very beginning of my business! That’s over a decade!! Throughout the day, we met her friends and family. One by one, different people would come up to me and say “Abby has been WAITING for YEARS to have you as her photographer” and I was humbled over and over again. I’m so grateful for a business and a brand that leads us to the right people!!
As you scroll through their beautiful wedding day, I hope you’ll be able to see in their images just how great of a fit it was for us to work together. I loved every part of this day and I can’t wait to share it with you. From the stunning, all white bridal suite to the willow tree portraits and golden sunset light, this day was a dream!
Tyler and Abby, I hope you’re enjoying your first few days as husband and wife! What a gift it is to call you friends and clients!!! Thank you for entrusting us with this big responsibility!!! Enjoy your day through my eyes!!

Have you ever started a session, camera in hand, and suddenly felt stuck? Your couple is standing there, looking at you, waiting for direction… and your mind goes blank.
Have you ever tried to sit down with your spouse to talk about dreams, goals, and vision—only for it to turn into frustration or misalignment? If so, you’re not alone. Vision casting in marriage is hard because it brings up deeper fears, beliefs, and unspoken dynamics that many couples don’t even realize are at play.
Success—it’s a word we hear all the time. But what does it really mean? Is it about financial security? Status? Owning a dream home or taking extravagant vacations?
When you think about your business, do you see it as simply a job—or something more?
Today, I’m diving into an experience that was nothing like I anticipated: my digital detox in December. If you’ve ever considered taking a break from the noise of the online world, you might relate to my journey—the good, the surprising, and the, well, completely unplanned.
The wedding industry has faced unique challenges recently, with inflation affecting budgets and couples cutting costs. If you’re a wedding photographer feeling the pinch, don’t worry—2025 doesn’t have to be a slow year.
