were building our house, we were really picky about our garage doors. This wasn’t because I was a crazy, first time home builder, it was because those garage doors were going to act as a workshop backdrop. Ha! You should have seen the look on our construction managers face when I said “We need the european style doors for photo shoots”. I’m sure that was a first!! Luckily we got the barn-like, european doors and they work perfectly as a clean backdrop for our styled shoot! Our neighbors probably think we’re crazy but that’s ok!!
Recently, this shoot was featured on RUFFLED and we’re so thankful that they showed off all of Amanda from Anthomanic‘s hard work!! She just did a stunning job piecing everything together! I am NEVER disappointed with her creations. They are always above and beyond and I love her for it!!! I’m so thankful for her help with these styled shoots because there is no way I could get it all done on my own!! So for this shoot, there was glitter galore, tons of rose gold wedding elements and a cascade of peach and ivory hydrangeas flowing over the table. It was just amazing!! Enjoy some of my favorites and a HUGE thank you goes to my amazing couple, Bob and Jess! They took the day off of work to come down and model and we are so thankful for them and their friendship! I just wished they lived closer!! :)

If so, you’re not alone. Vision casting in marriage is hard because it brings up deeper fears, beliefs, and unspoken dynamics that many couples don’t even realize are at play.
Success—it’s a word we hear all the time. But what does it really mean? Is it about financial security? Status? Owning a dream home or taking extravagant vacations?
When you think about your business, do you see it as simply a job—or something more?
Today, I’m diving into an experience that was nothing like I anticipated: my digital detox in December. If you’ve ever considered taking a break from the noise of the online world, you might relate to my journey—the good, the surprising, and the, well, completely unplanned.
The wedding industry has faced unique challenges recently, with inflation affecting budgets and couples cutting costs. If you’re a wedding photographer feeling the pinch, don’t worry—2025 doesn’t have to be a slow year.
