not often that I get to do bridal sessions. However, when I do, I LOVE them! Especially when I’m working with brides like Meredith! I just love her and I’m actually feeling a little bittersweet writing up this blog post because it’s her last post! I can’t believe their wedding has already happened! I feel like we were just emailing about how she had just gotten engaged!! Is it just me or does time seem to fly by faster and faster the older we get?! We’re approaching the final months of wedding season and we can’t believe it! So back to Meredith! Meredith lives in Wytheville but was sweet
enough to drive to Richmond for her bridal portraits earlier this summer! However, she didn’t come alone… she actually came with a whole entourage of family and friends! It was a blast! I had so many helpers, veil tossers and dress fluffers! My job was so easy! Meredith got into her dress once they arrived at Maymont Park and I was just in awe at how stunning she was! Here dress was fitted perfectly! We walked outside and though it was humid, we had overcast skies… which I love! It’s like God gave us a giant softbox for her shoot and a little relief from the summer heat!
I walked around Maymont and Bryd park with Meredith, her sweet mom, two of her bridesmaids and her family friend/hair stylist! I don’t what I loved more… the portraits or the time I spent with these amazing people! It’s such a blessing to get to meet such awesome people through my job. Even though Aaron and Meredith’s wedding is over, I feel so lucky to have them as new friends that we will cherish for a lifetime! Enjoy some of my favorites from Meredith’s shoot and let me know which is your favorite!!! I’m going to have to go with the shots on the stairs! You can never go wrong with a bride and staircase! :)

Vision casting in marriage is hard because it brings up deeper fears, beliefs, and unspoken dynamics that many couples don’t even realize are at play.
Success—it’s a word we hear all the time. But what does it really mean? Is it about financial security? Status? Owning a dream home or taking extravagant vacations?
