I’m telling you guys… this is just the sweetest season in my career!
We have made it very clear that we cherish our relationships with our clients. We’ve even taken it so far that we’ve had reunions in our own backyard for past clients! It was amazing! You can see the biggest one HERE! It’s such a joy to be able to have a way to still connect with our KJ Couples. I truly never saw it coming. Family photography? ME?! I am eating my own words because I’ve found my own way of doing family photos that feels creative and challenging and inspiring. I never thought those words would come out of my mouth but here we are!
Justin and Ashley’s wedding doesn’t seem like it was that long ago… but so much life has happened since that sweet day! We have both grown our families and now have new, precious people in our lives. Holly is so full of life and has a carefree spirit that honestly reminds me of our Evy girl. Spending even just an hour or so together made our week. We originally planned for a Belle isle session but we pulled into that area and there was a massive concert event going on and parking was insane! So, we did what any two photographers would do and we pivoted to Pony Pasture right down the road!!
We loved every humid minute of this session. Seeing past couples is just getting to have a little date with old friends!! Enjoy some of my favorites! (Justin and Ash… I hope you got Holly girl some more dried blueberries… she deserved them!)
Have you ever tried to sit down with your spouse to talk about dreams, goals, and vision—only for it to turn into frustration or misalignment? If so, you’re not alone. Vision casting in marriage is hard because it brings up deeper fears, beliefs, and unspoken dynamics that many couples don’t even realize are at play.
Success—it’s a word we hear all the time. But what does it really mean? Is it about financial security? Status? Owning a dream home or taking extravagant vacations?
When you think about your business, do you see it as simply a job—or something more?
Today, I’m diving into an experience that was nothing like I anticipated: my digital detox in December. If you’ve ever considered taking a break from the noise of the online world, you might relate to my journey—the good, the surprising, and the, well, completely unplanned.
The wedding industry has faced unique challenges recently, with inflation affecting budgets and couples cutting costs. If you’re a wedding photographer feeling the pinch, don’t worry—2025 doesn’t have to be a slow year.
Life has a way of surprising us, doesn’t it? Over the last few months, I’ve been on a medical rollercoaster that I never saw coming.
