are a funny things. Sometimes traditions are started and no one knows why but we stick to them like glue because that’s just what you’re supposed to do!! Right?! Well, Michael and I did several untraditional things when we got married, one being that we had our wedding on a SUNDAY! Gasp! 4 yeas ago, there were a lot of people who had never heard of that before. Weddings are supposed to be on a Saturday, right? Not anymore! As a culture, we get so stuck in our ways but things are starting to change!!
Sure, it’s a little harder for the guests to have to take off work, but besides that inconvenience, there aren’t a ton of cons to having a Friday or Sunday wedding! There are, however, many perks for the BRIDE and for the PHOTOGRAPHER!

Michael and I love a good Friday wedding and we’re actually going to be shooting one today! Congrats to Jeff and Julia!! Sometimes change from Tradition is a good thing… I mean, I’m super thankful that they don’t just serve mints and punch at receptions anymore! No offense Momma and Daddy ;) Weddings have evolved and new trends have emerged. We’re huge fans of this and so if you’re thinking about maybe having a Friday wedding, I hope I convinced you that it’s an awesome idea!!! :) Get excited to see these two on the blog next week!
