This may seem strange but there are some couples that I work with that feel like family. It seems ridiculous because I have literally only been around Matt and Laurie on two separate occasions. Sure, Laurie and I have emailed and facebooked over the last 6 months but we really haven’t had a ton of time to get to know one another, yet I still feel like I really know her! I think that speaks volumes about Laurie’s personality. Together, Matt and Laurie make the most amazing, gentle and caring couple. After our car ride to their engagement session back in November, I realized just how much I loved them! Not only are they personable, they genuinely care about everyone that surrounds them and that was echoed throughout their day by their family and friends.

I’ve been looking forward to their wedding ever since I met them. I knew Matt was going to be handsome and that his bride was going to be absolutely STUNNING. I had prepared myself for that but I was still blown away at Laurie’s beauty. During our time after the ceremony, the videographer mentioned to me, “They are like straight out of a magazine!”. That statement was so true. I couldn’t have asked for a more gorgeous couple. It was such a privilege to capture their wedding day. I feel so honored to have such great new friends and clients in my life.

The reason I LOVE this shot is because it was an accident! We were on a time crunch and a “freezing” crunch and I was trying to adjust settings while we were walking to the next location and this shot happened! They are just natural models!
