people come into your life and are such a HUGE blessing… and you didn’t even know you were in need of a blessing!! This late winter and early spring has been an interesting one for Michael and I …. and in the midst of crazy schedules I decided to host a workshop! …. with a styled shoot! Umm… that’s a lot of work. At lunch one day with my friend Janie, she mentioned that I shouldn’t try to do this all on my own… I should get some help from a stylist friend of hers. She connected me with the fabulous Dana Fitzgerald and I felt immediate relief! I’m a control freak… I’m VERY particular about decor and what I like… and so handing over the reigns for the styling of the
shoot was a big deal! …. But SUCH a smart decision. I can’t express how GRATEFUL I am that Dana jumped on board and made this happen. I told her the concept we were going for. The models, my friend Emily Hudspeth and her husband Jeff, were married in March 2011 in New Orleans. So to celebrate their anniversary, they were going to model and we were styling the shoot around their wedding theme! She drew up an inspiration board and Dana’s Masquerade Themed Wedding was such a hit! The bright colors and gorgeous details were a photographer’s dream! I was so excited to show the workshop attendees! Janie’s florals were beautiful and the model’s hair and makeup was perfect thanks to Emily! I’m so thankful for EVERYONE that helped out with this whole production! And I call it a production because if you saw the amount of STUFF it took to make this shoot happen…. you would agree that that title is fitting! At the bottom of the post, you can view the FULL list of vendors that helped make this possible!! Special thanks to Party Perfect and Home Goods!!!! And another MASSIVE thanks to the wonderful ladies over at WeddingChicks.com! They featured the workshop on Tuesday and you can view there here!
