I have heard that receiving a newly printed album is very similar to Christmas morning. Other photographers have blogged about the extreme excitement they experience when opening one for the first time. Knowing this, when my package came to the mailroom, as soon as I saw “Leather Craftsmen” printed on the side of the box, I RIPPED it open. I didn’t waste any time. The sweet girls that work the mailroom have come to expect this. It’s not uncommon for me to hold up the entire line as I over-enthusiastically tear into my mail right then and there. So as soon as this package was handed to me, the young girl handed me a pair of scissors, fully expecting me to started tearing into it and send bubble wrap flying. I did just that. I couldn’t wait to see my images and design actually printed! It makes my work seem so real! It’s one thing to blog images and see them on the screen. However, when I see my images printed and in tangible form it’s so exciting! They seem so vibrant and alive once printed. (Hint to clients: order prints!!)
I try to explain to my clients just how awesome these Leather Craftsmen albums are but words alone don’t do them justice. These albums are timeless. They are so far from a traditional wedding album where the prints just slide into slots on each page. They are custom designed spreads that display the images of your big day in a way that tells your story. They are non-tradional yet so incredibly classy. I can’t rave about them more. They complete the whole process and provide clients with a polished, published display of their wedding day. This album of Lonnie and Dana’s wedding in August was so much fun to design and receiving my studio sample was truly icing on the cake!
Here are some of the custom designed spreads. Be sure to keep scrolling to see the finished product!
The finished product! ah!!!
