Today we’re walking through the ceremony in the next part of the series ‘Wedding Day 101!’ The ceremony can be tense and stressful if you don’t have a plan.. so we’ll break the ceremony down into 3 parts. Whether you shoot solo or with a second shooter, I’ll show you what you need to know!
Have you tripped over the videographer during the ceremony recessional? Or tried to read the mind of what shot your second shooter was going for next? You CAN have a plan and be in sync with one another! These are the most sacred moments of the wedding, and you don’t want to cause a scene.
There’s 3 different parts- The Processional, Main Ceremony, and 1st Kiss/ Recessional. During the video, I’m showing different diagrams of where I am standing during each part, where Michael (second shooter) is, and when we need to move!
We’ve had some CRAZY things happen during the ceremony, so you want to think quickly and make sure you have everything covered! Whether you’re in a narrow indoor space, or a wide open venue with natural light- I’ll show you the lenses I would use and how to adjust.
We’re excited to continue this series on the key moments of photographing a wedding! If you missed the first episode on photographing a bride getting into her dress, you can find that HERE. For a bride, the wedding day goes by in the blink of an eye! It is so important to capture every detail that might have been overlooked during the day, but captures the entire story when looking back.
