Coming into college I expected to find new friends that I would enjoy hanging out with, would make incredible memories with and people who I would eventually live with! I had no idea that I would find girlfriends who are like sisters to me. I literally live with my best girlfriends and I wouldn’t trade it for the world! There’s nothing like it!
When my baby sister went off to VA Tech this past fall, I prayed she would find girlfriends like I have found at CNU. I prayed that she would find girls who she could be with 24-7 and never run out of things to talk about, girls that would encourage her and girls that will one day be her bridesmaids! Well, this past weekend my brother and I went to visit our dear sister in the mountains of Blacksburg. Besides caving for 4 hours and an intense game of “Wally-Ball”, meeting Emy’s friends was the highlight of the weekend! I PROMISED Emy that I would take some pics of her friends sometime so we had a little photo shoot! It was so much fun walking around campus and downtown with these girls! They are incredible and I’m so thankful that they are a part of Emy’s life! Enjoy some of my favorites!!
Ok, so they all thought I was weird… laying on the ground taking a picture of trash but I LOVE this one! I can be artsy sometimes!
I did some individual headshots for all of them! Here are some favorites!!

Today, I’m diving into an experience that was nothing like I anticipated: my digital detox in December. If you’ve ever considered taking a break from the noise of the online world, you might relate to my journey—the good, the surprising, and the, well, completely unplanned.
The wedding industry has faced unique challenges recently, with inflation affecting budgets and couples cutting costs. If you’re a wedding photographer feeling the pinch, don’t worry—2025 doesn’t have to be a slow year.
Life has a way of surprising us, doesn’t it? Over the last few months, I’ve been on a medical rollercoaster that I never saw coming.
