I have great ideas… and then sometimes I have ideas that seem great but definitely don’t go quite as I had planned. “Coaching Huddles” were a great example of one my ideas that didn’t go as planned. The amazing thing is that my ideas that don’t go as planned always turn out to be exactly what they were supposed to be! I launched a coaching huddle in LA and one person signed up. ONE. But guess what! That one person has become a sweet friend of mine and I’m so thankful that our “huddle” didn’t turn out to be what we thought it would be. Jaime and I hit it off from the beginning and I just love her!!!
She emailed me during the summer and told me that she was coming to the east coast for a vacation with her hubby and we planned an anniversary shoot!! However, this wasn’t just ANY anniversary shoot, it was a sunrise shoot! Also, I was photographing Californians in the FALL in Virginia!!! As I posted more and more engagement shoots recently with fall colors and beautiful leaves, Jaime would keep her fingers crossed that she would have the same color in her portraits! You can’t find leaves like these in Cali!!! Her wish came true! We were shooting in the peak of the leaves! The colors were just amazing! We were a little chilly during this early morning shoot but was it was so worth it!! Jaime looked stunning and Ryan looked like Ryan Gosling. What more could you want in two subjects?! :) AND Jaime’s hair LITERALLY matched the trees perfectly in some of these!! It may have been early and chilly but I was loving life during this shoot!! It’s always an honor to photograph another fabulous photographer!! Enjoy this gorgeous fall anniversary shoot!!
