Both Emy & I have 2 kids under 3, and our next babies are due 3 days apart! We got a lot of questions about the announcement so we decided to record a podcast episode answering all your questions!
There aren’t many days that Emy & I get dressed up with makeup on (especially being pregnant!), so we decided the best way to answer questions about our announcement was to record a podcast!! And there have been a LOT of questions about us both being due just 3 days apart!
No! We have never planned our pregnancies and all 3 of our kids have a cousin ‘twin’!
Emy & Joe found out they were pregnant first, and I ruined the surprise!! They wanted to tell us on Easter Sunday but I asked her the day before if she was pregnant and she couldn’t lie! So after I left her house, I took a pregnancy test and it was positive! We FaceTimed Emy & Joe right away and were freaking out together. We realized just how close together these babies would be!
We ended up telling our family together on Easter!! Due to Covid restrictions, we have been able to go to our appointments together since our husbands couldn’t be there and we are so thankful for that!
Michael had a very strong opinion that he wanted the gender to be a surprise, so we are not finding out until the baby is born! But Emy & Joe are still undecided!
Emy & I are very similar in many ways.. but we definitely have different views on our wants for childbirth! Emy is a big fan of scheduled c-sections (she already has a date picked!!) but I have loved my natural births!! This has definitely made us more well rounded though seeing that there isn’t one right way!
We are looking forward to not being sick and we are so excited about these babies!! Thanks for listening!!
