…”Wedding Wednesday” has become a “Wedding Thursday”. Ugh. I JUST looked at the clock as it struck 12:02am….its’ officially Thursday. I missed the mark. I guess that’s what happens when you try to blog 4 days before your wedding…. you get a little side tracked and distracted by the number of lanterns you ordered and which table the extra program baskets are going to sit on.. etc, etc. I’m kinda getting to the point where I just want it to happen! I want my family to get to relax, I want my daddy to stop fixing things 24-7 and I’m ready to be married and CELEBRATE! Woohoo! 10-10-10 is almost here!!!! I can’t believe it!!!!!
So, as most of you faithful blog stalkers know, Michael and I have dated for 8 years (it’s 8 years EXACTLY on our wedding day!). We have not only dated for almost a decade, we have known each other since we were toddlers…. if you even count that as “knowing” each other! So Michael’s family has become my family and my family is very much his family. We have vacationed together since before we can remember and these trips mostly consisted of camping with my family and traveling to “Aunt Susan’s House” with his family. Aunt Susan and Uncle Ed will officially become my family on Sunday but gosh, …. I’ve felt like part of the family since I was a little girl! I love Michael’s family and I’m so thankful to have new aunts, uncles, cousins and grandma’s that are so loving and welcoming!

A couple of weekends ago, Aunt Susan surprised me with an amazing handmade gift that I LOVE! It was such a unique and creative idea, it definitely deserves a Wedding Wednesday blog post! Susan MADE me a custom monogrammed hanger for my wedding dress. Not only is the monogram the perfect shade of TEAL… she made sure to use our EXACT font from our wedding stationary! AMAZING! (You know I LOVE that “A”!) I was so excited when I opened it because I actually needed a pretty hanger for my dress! (Note to future brides….find a NICE hanger for your gown…you paid too much $$$ for it to be photographed while hanging on plastic!:) So even though this Wedding Wednesday is late and somewhat rushed, I hope you enjoyed seeing the last little peak from our wedding! I cannot WAIT to show you all of the details after the honeymoon….lets just say, I have my Wedding Wednesday’s covered for a WHILE!

Aunt Susan, I absolutely LOVE my gift! Thank you so much for thinking of me!! It’s beautiful!!
