a girl…. you’ll understand what I’m about to explain. You know the feeling when you meet a BEAUTIFUL girl and you get a litttttle intimidated because she’s literally drop dead gorgeous. It happens to all of us…. and it happened to me when I first met Shelby. However… it was a pleasant surprise to immediately realize that Shelby wasn’t aware of just how beautiful she was. In fact, she’s probably one of the most down-to-earth girls in our whole youth group…. she just happens to look like a model. I hope she always stays like that because really, that makes her even more attractive. Shelbs is an incredible girl. I’ve loved her since day one and I can’t
believe it’s been a YEAR since Michael and I first started our journey at this church with these kids. Shelby is a senior and I’m really dreading the day when she graduates and heads off to college. Graduation is like torture for a youth pastor’s wife! I love these girls so much… I’m really not ready to see them go, even though I know that college is going to be amazing for them! College is a reality and it’s coming faster than we realize. I’m so thankful that I have one more year with this sweet girl. Shelby is seriously one of the easiest girls to talk to… and that’s a good thing because we drove all the way to Charlottesville to take her pictures and that would have been an AWKWARD car ride if we hadn’t talked the whole way there and back! I loved my time with her and I’m LOVING her pics! This girl has a rockin serious face! I’m jealous. So enjoy these favorites and be sure to leave some comment love for Shelbs!!! xoxo
Shelbs just stop it… this is beautiful.
Please realize that people were passing us and saying weird things like “Want me to hold the reflector?”…. I wasn’t even using a reflector… weird. Then a UPS man asked to be in a picture… seriously? C’Ville, you creeped us out a few times! But we still love your cute downtown filled with old doors.
Look at that hair!! Beautiful!
Sharon I promise she wasn’t as close to the edge as she looks!! Promise!:)
This is our “See we really were in Charlottesville” shot:)
Have you ever tried to sit down with your spouse to talk about dreams, goals, and vision—only for it to turn into frustration or misalignment? If so, you’re not alone. Vision casting in marriage is hard because it brings up deeper fears, beliefs, and unspoken dynamics that many couples don’t even realize are at play.
