….I could hear her excitement through her email! Colleen wrote to me in ALL CAPS and with a bazillion exclamation marks! She was ENGAGED!!! It was finally her turn! After years of following the blog, she was the one inquiring with a ring on her finger and she was SO EXCITED! The excitement continued as she booked and we started thinking about her engagement session! She jokingly mentioned that Lance LOVED the Braves and how cool would it be to shoot their engagement session on Turner Field?! (Lance… you’re a lucky man!!)
After some emails about logistics, we actually found a date that would WORK! That in and of itself is a miracle!! So, after the P31 Conference in Rome, GA, I headed to Atlanta at the crack of dawn to finally spend some time with these two!! And let me tell you, it was worth the commute because these two are so much fun! Lance and Colleen are just an awesome as they look in their pictures! If you think Colleen looks bubbly and joyful, you are correct. If you think Lance looks like a genuine, down-to-earth guy with an awesome smile, you would be correct also! I was greeted with the most amazing hug when I first arrived to the stadium and I felt like these two were old friends. Colleen could probably win the “Most Excited Bride” award for 2015!!! And whenever I get to work with someone like that, I love it! Enjoy this super unique engagement shoot!! I love trying new things and this was definitely a fun idea to check off the bucket list! Colleen and Lance, thanks for dreaming big and doing something out of the box for your engagement session!! It was totally worth it!!! :)
