towards Ashland and I was convinced that the light rain was just going to pass us by. I mean, it always does. Most of the time it’s a quick shower and then the skys clear up. Well this was not the case last Wednesday! Erinn and her sister Mallory joined me for what turned out to be the RAINIEST session I’ve ever shot! However, it was still fabulous because we made it work and made a ton of memories along the way. Mallory thought she was coming to be the comic relief and make Erinn laugh… but really, she ended up being our umbrella carrier and lens keeper. We literally couldn’t have done this without her!
Erinn is a senior in our youth group and I really got to know her over this summer. Once again, I HATE this whole “senior” thing. It’s such a tease!! Erinn is wonderful and I’m so SO thankful we still have some time together before she’s off to school. She’s easy to talk to, incredibly sweet and SO busy!! These girls do everything! I’m just thankful we found time for her session in between horseback riding, homework and crew! The rain may have been a little bit of a disappointment… I mean who really wants to take pictures in the rain?! No one! But Erinn had an incredible attitude and that’s the only reason she has so many MONEY SHOTS! I love so many of these and you really can’t tell that it was raining the WHOLE time! We would take cover underneath the umbrellas and then run to the next spot and work as fast as possible!! I would be yelling “Beautiful! Model Face! Laugh to the left! Nice! Switch sides! Arm up! Laugh at Mal! Serious face! Good!”…. It can be a little overwhelming but Erinn was a PRO. Literally. She just did amazingly well and I loved our time together!! From blow drying hair in the car vents to laughing at Mallory carry 3 open umbrellas, jackets and a camera bag at one time…this shoot was FAR from boring!!!! So enjoy this post and leave some love for this beautiful girl! I’m so thankful she’s a part of our life and it was an honor to shoot these images!!! YAY Senior year!!!!!!
Oh! Okkkkk!! Look at you!!
I wish I could take credit for the laugh on the left… but it was all Mal!
