You are going to love this wedding! This wedding began at the bride’s childhood home in Alexandria. Her mom’s paint color in the foyer matched the wedding colors. It’s almost like they planned it! As I walked through Sally’s parent’s home, it was easy to see that her classy, preppy and southern style stemmed from them. I loved how simple and elegant all of Sally’s details were! From the very beginning of the day I knew that this was going to be a gorgeous wedding!!
As I styled the details, one of Sally’s little flower girls kept me company and told me all about her role that day. It was so sweet to photograph bridal details while listening to a 6 year old girl’s view of a wedding! It’s so magical and special to her in so many ways! It gave me a fresh perspective at the beginning of the day and I loved that!! I loved so many parts of David and Sally’s wedding day. Their band was amazing, their ceremony was perfect, their portrait locations were wonderful and their venue… well you just wait until you see their VENUE! We love photographing at the Army Navy Club!!
One other part of their day that was so special was watching Sally read her card from David. Before she opened it she said she wasn’t going to cry, but after reading his sweet words to her, the tears started flowing. They are truly a beautiful couple with big hearts and so many FRIENDS! Their bridal party was HUGE!! We loved working with them and we can’t wait to show off their day!!!

Vision casting in marriage is hard because it brings up deeper fears, beliefs, and unspoken dynamics that many couples don’t even realize are at play.
Success—it’s a word we hear all the time. But what does it really mean? Is it about financial security? Status? Owning a dream home or taking extravagant vacations?
When you think about your business, do you see it as simply a job—or something more?

The wedding industry has faced unique challenges recently, with inflation affecting budgets and couples cutting costs. If you’re a wedding photographer feeling the pinch, don’t worry—2025 doesn’t have to be a slow year.
