Well it’s always fun to shoot a wedding when you know some of the guests, but it’s REALLY fun when your sister is the Matron of Honor and is a part of the bridal party! We absolutely loved being a part of Hunter and Britne’s beautiful fall wedding. It was a perfect 70 degrees and the sunshine poured into the windows of the gorgeous old barn that they were married in. It was a dream wedding day from beginning to end. I loved being a part of this day not only because I knew the couple personally but because I remember hearing Britne talking and dreaming about her future husband all the way back during her time at Virginia Tech when she was living with Emy!
God blessed Britne with an amazing man who loves the Lord, loves her and treats her like a queen. One by one their friends stood up and toasted to the newlyweds. EVERY SINGLE TOAST included something about Hunter’s character and how their relationship was such a beautiful picture of the Gospel. At my sister’s wedding I mentioned in my toast that I had prayed for her to have amazing friends at college who would one day be standing at her wedding beside her… I never expected that I would have the opportunity to be a part of her roommate’s wedding in such a special way too! God is good. And so faithful!
It was such an honor to capture Hunter and Britne’s love. AND I may be a little biased but I think Britne’s veil was gorgeous…. because it was MINE and my sister’s! She wore our veil as her something borrowed! :) I can’t wait for you to see this gorgeous day! The red lips, the fall colors, the crazy high rafters in the barn… it was all so photogenic!!! Enjoy the visual story of their day!!
Looking sharp Hunter!
Oh Britne…. you are stunning! Just gorgeous!
You know I love this!
They shared the sweetest first look…. my favorite part was hearing Hunter pray and thank God for this time together. It’s such a quiet and intimate part of the day!!
Ahhh!!! So gorgeous!
Love this! One of my favorite bridesmaids shots of the year!!
MARRIED!!!
Can we all just agree that we’re glad Britne wore red lipstick?! Love the pop!!
A popcorn bar for cocktail hour!!
If you can’t tell, I loved the first dance! This barn was a blast to shoot inside of!
We caught the “glow” just in time!!!
YES!!!! This wasn’t easy! But so worth it!

Have you ever tried to sit down with your spouse to talk about dreams, goals, and vision—only for it to turn into frustration or misalignment? If so, you’re not alone. Vision casting in marriage is hard because it brings up deeper fears, beliefs, and unspoken dynamics that many couples don’t even realize are at play.
Success—it’s a word we hear all the time. But what does it really mean? Is it about financial security? Status? Owning a dream home or taking extravagant vacations?
When you think about your business, do you see it as simply a job—or something more?
Today, I’m diving into an experience that was nothing like I anticipated: my digital detox in December. If you’ve ever considered taking a break from the noise of the online world, you might relate to my journey—the good, the surprising, and the, well, completely unplanned.
The wedding industry has faced unique challenges recently, with inflation affecting budgets and couples cutting costs. If you’re a wedding photographer feeling the pinch, don’t worry—2025 doesn’t have to be a slow year.
