It’s hard to admit…. but all of these years of hunching over a computer have caught up with me. I honestly don’t think that it was JUST leaning over the laptop or iPhone that made things as bad as they are today… I think my pace of life and holding a heavy camera are to blame as well! The truth is, being a wedding photographer is HARD on your body!! I found out two years ago that I had a reversed neck curve. Eek! If you don’t know what that means, I’ll tell you this…. it’s NOT GOOD.

So tell me…. does the SOUND of these words make you cringe and break into hot sweats?! :DARK CHURCHES, BUSY BEACHES, ZERO WINDOWS, RED CARPET, HEAVY SHADE, GREEN GRASS, GREEN TREES, GREEN FACES!!! Yikessssssss!!! It doesn’t matter HOW experienced you are as a photographer, these situations are NOT FUN! They can be downright frustrating, annoying and crippling if you don’t have solutions for handling them!
I’ve been there and I get it! Today I had a conversation about these struggles we all experience as photographers and I recorded it for you!!


  • Two Weeks in the Highlands

I have to admit… there is part of me that is still so surprised that I’m even writing this blog post. I’m still in shock that this trip even happened! We have never come so close to cancelling a trip before! Four days before we were supposed to leave, we found out that Evy would be getting into her “Hip harness” early! We were excited and thankful to have another alternative to the Spica Cast but starting in the harness early made for sleepless nights and a frustrated baby!
