Hi there! I’m Katelyn.

We hope you grab some coffee (or a diet coke, in my case) and enjoy viewing our latest work, browsing resources for photographers, and getting a little peek into our life!  Read more...

Best of Weddings 2015

  • A Year of Joy!

I feel like I’ve been rather vulnerable this week. I’ve shared some fears and frustrations in my post yesterday and today I’m going to do that same. As a photographer… I have the same fear EVERY YEAR. I have a very real fear that I won’t create work that compares or surpasses my work in years past. Not only do I have a fear that I won’t be able to create new work that I’m in love with, I also worry that others will NOTICE! What is my deal?! I think (like many others) I have a subconscious fear of letting people down and not living up to my reputation. However, this is the post that proves that my fears are stupid… every year.

Our Best Decision in 2015

  • Our Team Has Grown!

Some of you are reading that subheadline and are thinking that this is a pregnancy announcement! Come on people!!! You’re worse than my mom! :) Just kidding. Our moms really want to be grandparents together (especially since they are best friends… which is cute :)… but I’m only 27 until TOMORROW and so I’m still young!!! So no, our team hasn’t grown in that way. However, we did make one of the BEST decisions of our career this year. We got help!!!!

Best of Portraits 2015

  • Engagements, Anniversaries & Specialty Portraits

This week is one of my FAVORITE blogging weeks! It’s the week that I highlight my BEST work of 2015 and I normally categorize these images into two categories : Weddings & Engagements. The issue this year is that I have had multiple anniversary sessions this year that I’m especially fond of and so I decided to make this post a “Best of Portraits” post!! I actually made this post creation process VERY easy on myself this year! Every time that I finished a shoot, I would take my FAVORITE images and save them in a “2015 Portfolio” folder in an online gallery!
