on a wild goose chase. I had scouted out the area before the shoot and found this BRIGHT orange tree….it was literally GLOWING! And so I told them about it and we started walking in that direction. Minutes and minutes go by. At this point, we’ve walked for a WHILE… still no tree! I lost it!! How do you lose a gigantic ORANGE tree?! I promised them that it really did exist and I PROMISED it would be worth it! After a few more turns, we saw it….. and let me just say, it was worth it!! So worth it! I’m so thankful for couples that truly trust my judgement with their images. Joe and Kathleen are the BEST and such a sweet pair. They’re so laid back and just a joy to be around. Kathleen emailed me last Thursday afternoon and mentioned that Richmond was going to get slammed with storms on Thursday afternoon…. at 4:30… right when we were starting our session!! So we moved them to Williamsburg and it was perfect. We tried to stay away from the commercial area (mainly because there was a PARADE going on! Really?! That afternoon was full of surprises!) It was great hanging out with these two and I’m beyond excited for their wedding next summer!! Enjoy my favorites and thank you colonial Williamsburg for having some GREAT light!!
