I’ve seen SO many sessions shot at this beautiful location and I’ve always wanted a chance to photograph a beautiful couple here. Coleman and Sarah, thanks for making my dreams come true at the Virginia House! It just so happens that right when I was shooting this session, I was in the middle of launching our brand new KJ Composition Course. Naturally, my composition radar was on high alert and this setting DID NOT disappoint!!! I can’t wait for you to scroll through the goodness of this session!
Another reason I loved this shoot was because Coleman and Sarah are dear friends. Michael was their youth pastor MANY years ago and we remember them as high schoolers! Seeing them in this season of life… engaged, careers, planning their wedding… it’s wild and so wonderful! I photographed Sarah’s sister’s wedding several years ago and there’s nothing I love more than doing a KJ Bride’s sister’s wedding!!! It’s like one big reunion and it’s the literal best! This wedding is going to be extra special because not only did I photograph Sarah’s sister’s wedding but I also photographed Coleman’s sister’s wedding too!
I’m in the season of my career where legacy weddings are truly what I look forward to the most! I’m not looking for crazy destination weddings or wanting to be published, I just love capturing these special days for these sweet families who trusted me YEARS ago to capture their first family wedding! It’s such an honor!!!
Ok, I’ve rambled enough… here are my favorites!! (There are actually about 128 more favorites that couldn’t fit into the blog post! Coleman and Sarah, get excited for your gallery!)
