I remember trying to dress myself and be creative when I was little, really little. Every little girl does it. I would throw on whatever I could find and I wasn’t afraid to mix and match stripes and plaid and designs. As I got older, the mixing matching ceased and I came to understand that stripes and pattern just don’t work well together. However! That is not ALWAYS the case. I remember decorating my college dorm room and mixing patterned pillows and striped pillows for the first time. I felt like such a rebel. It worked and I still love those pillows together to this day!

Mixing and matching also works with vases, votives, and glassware in general! Don’t be afraid to mix and match! These little green glasses and votives were not so attractive in the stores but when you combine them in a centerpiece, they work perfectly together!

I can’t describe how much I love the bottle on the left! What a beautiful shade of teal!! ….and the other vase still has a price tag on it… dang it!
Oh where do I begin? This wasn’t just another wedding for me. This was a legacy KJ Wedding and I have been looking forward to it ever since my first email from Danny and Megan!
I’m really excited about this YouTube video because I know that it resonates with ALL photographers who photograph PEOPLE!!
Have you ever walked into a client experience and realized “oh wow, this is not what I was expecting?” ….
